1. Adaptiv
About the oil: Even though the order of the oils on this Top 10 essential oils for anxiety list is random, I have decided to put Adaptiv at the top for a reason. If you were to only buy ONE oil to help with your anxiety, I think Adaptiv should be the one. It is an oil blend consisting of Lavender, Magnolia, Neroli, Sweetgum, Wild Orange, Spearmint, Copaiba and Rosemary. These oils offer various properties, some that have calming effects and others will energize you and have uplifting effects. They soothe intense feelings.
My favorite way to use Adaptiv is to diffuse it whenever I feel like my feelings get the better of me. You can also rub it under the soles of your feet with some carrier oil (Fractionated coconut oil), for an additional calming effect.
